Reflection Because I've been working so hard these last few years at securing a full-time position teaching English, I've done a lot more in the way of professional development. This year I'm doing a few new things, working as a senator on the academic senate at Saddleback, serving as a mentor with the Puente group at Fullerton College, and trying to bang out this online certificate. I published an article with California English, and I'm helping out with the new acceleration program at another college, and I do my best to make it to conferences and workshops, and to stay connected with some professional groups via Facebook all in the hopes of improving my craft.
